New Apartment Community Opens June 14 in Livingston Parish

Two Local Chamber of Commerce Groups Join to Host the Official Ribbon Cutting

CST Land Developers, LLC, announced today a preview event,  open house and ribbon cutting to officially mark the opening of The Palms at Juban Lakes Luxury Apartments will be held on Thursday, June 14, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The  $24.5 million 144- unit luxury apartment community is located at 11020 Buddy Ellis, just off Juban Road in Livingston Parish.

The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce and the Baton Rouge Area Chamber are hosting the event, which begins at 4 p.m. when the developers, investors, and parish officials will cut the ribbon at 4 p.m. The event continues at poolside until 7 p.m. with a medley of Louisiana tastings.  The public will be able to tour the clubhouse, pool, and a fully furnished 3-bedroom model.

Principals of CST Land Developers are Tom Delahaye, Stan Baudin, and Chris Coffin, of Plaquemine and Baton Rouge. This is the sixth major project of the firm since it was formed in 2006.

The Palms at Juban Lakes is located on a sixteen and a half acres on Buddy Ellis Road in Denham Springs, which is a part of a 69-acre parcel the partners purchased in July of 2006.  It is located about a mile from the Juban Interstate 12 interchange at 11020 Buddy Ellis Road.

CST Land Developers began leasing the 144 units in the April, according to Community Manager Tanya Layson, of Denham Springs.

The community includes traditional three story garden style walk up apartment buildings designed for lake and wooded views on the grounds. The community was designed by architect Lance Malley, AIA, of The Architectural Studio of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.   Murray McCullough of Benchmark Group, LLC provided the  engineering design and the contractor  is  Block Construction of Baton Rouge.  The interior design was done by Karen Giffel, a local design professional.

“This development is a high-end market rate development that has many unique features in the one, two and three bedroom gated community,” said Delahaye. “The Palms has hardwood styled panel floors, garden tubs, 5’ walk in showers, stainless steel appliances and quartz counters.  It will also feature garages and carports. The third floor 2 bedroom apartments also boast 11 foot ceilings as a special amenity.”

The community also features several site amenities including: a large designer swimming pool; half  basketball sports court; fully-equipped fitness center; luxury club house with a resident lounge with a  coffee bar; billiard/game room; 2 dog parks; playscape area.
